Choosing the Right Summer Camp Job
So, you've decided to apply for a summer camp job. Now you need to decide which one you're best suited for. The first question is which program? For our overnight camp program, the staff live on site throughout the summer, while our day camp program requires staff to live at home. Now which position? Auxiliary Counsellors, Counsellors and Lead Counsellors work with the same group of campers each day. They build strong connections with every camper. Activity Staff work with many groups throughout the session and usually require specific certifications to safely run their program area. Finally, our support staff play a vital role in maintaining the camp and making sure that everyone is fed. No matter the program or position, our staff work hard together to ensure that campers have a positive and memorable summer camp experience.
