Like many camp settings, ours has been established around a gender binary system. We recognize the limitations of this establishment and we are working towards a more inclusive environment.

Everyone has the right to define their own gender and we are committed to ensuring a safe space within our camp community for staff and campers, no matter their gender expression.

Campers may be grouped in cabins based upon their lived gender or, in some cases, in a non gender manner. Accommodations will be made to provide access to facilities such as showers, washrooms and change rooms as needed.

The duties to make these accommodations is a shared responsibility and we will work with our staff, campers and parents accordingly. We will also respect and observe the privacy of everyone and will hold all information confidential.
